Tuning Crownline JTC Racext When the catalytic converter has been removed, the original standard performance will be at the minimum value on the ECU. If the Crownline JTC Racext runs too rich, then the setting must be set between little and minimum. You will feel the performance of the jet ski when the engine runs smoothly, no need to do a Dyno test.

Installation guide for Crownline JTC  module on the IAT sensor of a jet ski

1. Locate the IAT sensor on your jet ski. It is usually a two-wire sensor that measures the intake air temperature and sends a signal to the electronic control unit (ECU).
2. Disconnect the IAT sensor from the wiring harness. You may need to use a flathead screwdriver to release the clip.
3. Connect the Crownline JTC  module to the wiring harness using the supplied connectors. Make sure the polarity is correct and the connections are secure.
4. Connect the other end of the Crownline JTC module to the IAT sensor using the supplied connectors. Make sure the polarity is correct and the connections are secure.
5. Mount the Crownline JTC module in a safe and dry place away from heat and moisture. You can use zip ties or Velcro to secure it.
6. Adjust the knob on the Crownline JTC module according to your preference. Start with the minimum setting and gradually increase it until you find the best performance for your jet ski.
7. Enjoy your improved power and torque with the Crownline JTC module.

Note: If you have modified your jet ski with aftermarket parts, such as sport exhaust or air intake, you may need to adjust the knob differently to optimize the fuel and air mixture. If you have removed the catalytic converter, you may need to set the knob to the minimum value to avoid running too rich.

WARNING Please avoid falling into the trap of thinking that the higher the set value, the better the performance.

If it appears that you are losing torque when you get to high speeds this probably means that the ECU value has been set too high and you need to try a lower value. This is another reason why it is best to start with a low level and gradually raise the knob to the maxmimum setting.
